Lost relics

It was in the early 1980s when the Indiana Jones films took archeology into the consciousness of the mainstream. Archeologists went from being stuffy old men, slowly dusting fossils, to adventurous and handsome heroes, who could outrun and outsmart anyone he came up against.

Net Ent have taken this theme and run with it, and have given us the Lost Relics slot game. It is a lot of fun to play, and also looks great, with some well designed symbols and backgrounds.

In this Lost Relics review, we will give players the lowdown on how to play the game, what the bonus features are like, and if the return to player (RTP) rate makes the game actually worthwhile playing.

Gameplay

The Lost Relics slot game has five rows and five reels. Players will need to select the number of coins, and the value of the coins, before they can set off and spin the reels. If players don’t wish to do this each time, there is an autoplay function.

Like games such as Berry Blast, instead of matching between three, four or five symbols across the reels, players will be looking to make clusters of symbols. The same symbol needs to land six or more times, but importantly can be matched horizontally and vertically. It may take a bit of getting used to to begin with, but we are confident players will really enjoy it once they get to grips with it.

Some of the lower value symbols are the old style playing card suits, but have been revamped to look like ancient relics. The symbols that are worth more are the helmets, bracelets and daggers, with the snake wrapped around the red ruby being the most valuable. Covering the whole grid with them will reward players with X300 of the original stake.

Bonus Features

The best part of this Lost Relics review? The section covering the bonus features of course. There are a number of different ones here, which are triggered seemingly at random.

When the Coin Win feature happens, one of the symbols from a winning combination will award a coin payout, which will be between X3 and X30 of your original stake.

In the Extra Wild feature, three Wilds are placed on the reels at random, to help form extra wins. You can land five of these at one time, so there is the chance to land 15 extra Wilds in one go.

Then there is the Extra Scatter feature, where one of the symbols that is part of a winning cluster will grant you an extra Scatter. Landing three Scatters on the first, third and fifth reel will reward players with 10 free spins.

There are also Hidden Chests, which contain extra free spins, sticky Wilds and coin wins.

RTP

The RTP rate for the Lost Relics slot game is 96.3%
